Serving Unhoused Individuals and Families in Northwest Arkansas (NWA)
At DiVa & DuDe, Our mission is to provide hope through access to services and resources: empowering individuals & families people to achieve their full potential and improve their quality of life.
Founded by Dr. Carla Smith Thompson in July 1985, our organization started from her one-bedroom apartment. Since then, we have expanded across multiple states, always adhering to our core values of compassion, dignity, and respect.
The organization has grown to include training and educational opportunities. Dr. Thompson believes that encouragement, education, and edification lead to empowerment.
As DiVA & DuDe Community Outreach/Training Center transitions under new leadership, she is eager to see the future developments stemming from her dedication to helping communities in need.
